WILL THOMSON

BIO

Will Thomson is a professional Guitarist and Songwriter from the UK. He is a graduate of The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (Europe's finest Modern Music School) with a first class BA Hons degree in Creative Musicianship. He also holds a Performance Music A-level and Grade Eight in contemporary Guitar Performance and Theory.

Will's work as a writer and performing musician has been featured live on both 'BBC Introducing' and 'The Apple Music Chart Show', whilst also appearing in renowed publications such as ' Rolling Stone' and ' Wonderland'.

He has worked professionally with an array of artists, writers and producers in both live and studio environments. Notable credits include: ' JIN JIN', Tom Fuller, Jordan Shaw, Flo Gallop, Jordy, BSHP and King Wizard.

Alongside his portfolio career, Will is a primary songwriter and frontman (guitarist/vocalist) for British Indie-Pop band ' Coral Palms'. The band have received critical acclaim from taste maker radio and blogs, being championed by DJ's such as Sarah Gosling and Shell Zenner.

With a great listenership and audience, they are one of the most exciting emerging indie bands within the UK scene.

Will is a professional Guitar Teacher, with a 100% exam pass rate. He currently teaches with the team at Rhythm Room Music School in Milton Keynes and privately within the Beds/Bucks & Herts area. He specialises in improving and developing students of all ages and abilities. 

​

He has a wealth of session experience ranging from work with functions agencies such as Earcandy, to playing live for signed artists and organisations such as 'Sofar Sounds' and ' BBC Upload'.
